We are excited to share that our next short film project in pre-production is something unlike anything that SPI has brought to life so far!

Set in Austin, Texas, in a world where real people and animal puppets co-exist, Grackle & Armie is a family tale about a grackle and an armadillo joining forces to make their dreams come true. Gracie Grackle feels down on her luck; she’s been living with her sister for two years, can’t find a job she enjoys doing, and her dating life is in the toilet. When she meets an Armadillo, named Armie, who invites her to join his band, Gracie is enchanted by the art of live music performance, like so many Austinites before her!
